Tickets for Ada Lovelace Day Live are now on sale via the Royal Institution website!
Our annual ‘science cabaret’ returns with a fantastic line-up of women in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM), who will share their experiences, insights and expertise, inspiring and empowering the next generation of women in STEM.
Hosted by comedian Helen Arney, the show will feature Prof Jennifer Rohn, head of the Centre for Urological Biology, University College London, Dr Azza Eltraify, senior software engineer at Ultracell Networks Ltd, Dr Sophie Carr, mathematician, Bays Consulting Limited, Dr Aarathi Prasad, writer, broadcaster, and geneticist and Dr Anjana Khatwa, Earth scientist and presenter, with more speakers to be announced. Ticket prices
Theatre audience tickets cost £17.03 (£10.88 concession), including booking fees, for members of the public, or £7.79 for Ri Members or Ri Patrons. Carers can receive a free ticket by emailing events@ri.ac.uk.
The show is appropriate for adults and young people over the age of 13.
We will also be live streaming the event and will provide details for that soon.
Accessibility
The event will take place in the Ri’s theatre on the first floor and there is step-free access from the street via lift. There is also space at floor level in the theatre for wheelchair users.
The closest underground station is Green Park, which is step-free
Seating is usually unreserved, but if you and your group require seating reservations, please do let the Ri know by emailing us at events@ri.ac.uk.
The theatre is also equipped with an Audio Induction Loop.
